NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

November 19, 2026, 8:15 a.m.

 

 

The Board of Emmet County Road Commissioners will hold a public hearing at its offices at 2265 E. Hathaway Road, Harbor Springs, MI 49740 at 8:15 a.m., Thursday, November 19, 2026, for the purpose of discussing the proposed improvements to the following road in Bear Creek Township:

 

• Williams Road from Cemetery Road to US-131 for 0.48 miles

 

Proposed improvements include Culverts, Undercutting, Soil Stabilization Fabric, 12” Sand Lift, Biaxial Geogrid, Aggregate Base, HMA Paving, Gravel Shouldering, Slope Restoration and Pavement Markings.

The Board of Emmet County Road Commissioners will hold a public hearing at its offices at 2265 E. Hathaway Road, Harbor Springs, MI 49740 at 8:10 a.m., Thursday, November 19, 2026, for the purpose of discussing the proposed improvements to the following road in Bear Creek Township:

 

• Greenwood Road from Brubaker Road then south 3000’ for 0.57 miles

 

Proposed improvements include Culverts, Drainage Improvements, HMA Base Crushing and Shaping, Aggregate Base, HMA Paving, Gravel Shouldering, Slope Restoration and Pavement Markings.

The Board of Emmet County Road Commissioners will hold a public hearing at its offices at 2265 E. Hathaway Road, Harbor Springs, MI 49740 at 8:10 a.m., Thursday, February 12, 2026, for the purpose of discussing the proposed improvements to the following road in Maple River Township:

 

• Brutus Road starting 151’ west of Culp Road then east to US-31 for 1.51 miles

 

Proposed improvements include HMA Crushing and Shaping, Aggregate Base, Gravel Shoulders, Drainage Improvements, HMA Paving, Guardrail, Restoration and Pavement Markings.
